Shandong Shouguang Luqing Petrochemical Co., Ltd., established in 2000, is a joint-stock private enterprise. It is located within the Shouguang High-end Petrochemical Industrial Park, as outlined in the Development Plan for the High-end Petrochemical Industrial Base in Northern Shandong (2018-2025), and is among the first batch of designated chemical industrial parks. The company benefits from a dedicated railway line and a 15 million tons/year oil pipeline that directly connects to its oil depot. It is situated 17 kilometers from Weifang West Port, which can accommodate 5,000-ton oil tankers. The refined oil products produced by the company supply coastal and riverine regions across China, and it is a designated supplier for PetroChina and Sinopec. Luqing's oil products have been awarded the Shandong Province "Clean Energy Supply Service" Famous Service Brand, "Luqing Brand Polypropylene Resin" has been recognized as a Shandong Province Famous Brand Product, and "Luqing Brand Asphalt" has been awarded the Shandong Province Famous Trademark. Other products have been certified as "Nationally Stable and Qualified Products in Quality Inspection." The company holds crude oil import and usage qualifications approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce, as well as a refined oil wholesale qualification from the Ministry of Commerce, making it the only private enterprise in Weifang with such credentials.
